Keeping your bow/gun skills up to date?

What are some tips to make sure your skills are completely up to date, especially in the lower levels when soloing is much more difficult with ranger. I've heard that bow and gun skills are just hard to level in general, what are some tips I could have?

i found it pretty easy myself. I just leveled my ranger to 37 today :)

during solo early levels, switch around guns and bows and keep your both skill at the same level :) that's pretty much enough. it will take just a little time.

once you get into party, it's sooo easy to max out the skill. I was surprised how fast both my bow and gun got capped.

keep them max in a level party is the best idea to me :) you only have to up 3 points every level. I usually cap them out in only about 60-70 shots. (I use more than 800 shots in a party at level 30+....)

Today I ran around La Theine as Pld/Rng and tried to level my bow skill, which is 3. I figured La Theine monsters were more than enough to level up, but the skill didn't even raise 0.1 in about 150 shots. Does paladin not work for raising bow? :confused:

Ok I have a question. Dont ou have to be atleast level 30 to get the Ranger job? It is advanced right. The same with the Paladin. So what is your basic job? I mean I am gonna make a Black Mage/Summoner but to get the Summoner job I have to be level 30.And is it possible to have more than two jobs?
