sam questions

if i get to lvl 30, im currently a warrior, and i go to get samurai, i get samurai, then go get pal, how would sam/pal work? would it work well at all?

Not really... there's no abilities that would help you and you'd have very little mp to cast spells. You'd be much better off subbing war since they have a whole bunch of a abilities that compliments sam well including taunt. I've heard sam's af adds to hate so you'll be expected to be a backup tank.

i was originally gonna do blm/whm but its soooooooooo hard to lvl a taru blm in the beginning, i wanna be a powerhouse, but i wanna be able to heal myself, and i want to be able to lvl just a little bit, i dont mind having to pt to level, but in the beginning i like solo, i would rather solo than pt, is blm/whm a good idea even tho its soooo tough to start out with, or should i stick with sam/war?

You're having trouble leveling with BLM/WHM Taru? I thought it was pretty easy myself, at least at LVL9. I don't know if you can use Bind yet, but after I got that, Bind, and nuke, nuke, nuke until dead. Sit. Repeat. :biggrin:

I haven't played SAM job yet, so I really can't help you with that one.

there aren't many jobs that can solo well above about 15, even at 15 you're stuck fighting easy or slightly below your level monsters.

only jobs that can really solo above that is bst, sometimes pld, sometimes rdm, and if you're fighting worms rng.

and even as one of those jobs, being a taru melee soloing would be even harder. this isn't really a solo game, when you solo, you get slow, crappy exp.
And mages can't solo, you die too fast, later on bind doesn't always work so well.

not to mention samurai isn't in the beta, so you can't get it anyways for now.
