Sword or Hands?

A thief...which should he/she use before reaching level 33? I was thinking of using hands (claws and such) but Im not sure if it's better with swords.

Most definite use Grapples (Claws/hands) it is much easier to renkei with grapples and it does more damage than daggers. Then at about level 25+ You should be able to fight enough monsters to raise dagger level to get Viper at level 33.

With Xp wit EQ Ive been a rouge or Beast lord if u hav a hand to hand or duel wield skill DEFENITLY use it cuz its fast and cool!

I depends on which weapon is getting more powerful as it levels for your character and it depends on the hit rate.
