Skull Hunting

i spent another 9 hour night last night looking for a skull....saw one drop but the lvl 16 in my group took it, died 2 times in gusgen and died once trying to solo a ghoul at lv. 18 :) ....i am getting very frustrated so ill be on again tonight from 5 - 2 EST...send me a tell if you would like to PT to find some skulls in valkrum or gusgen

or if you just want to get some XP we will do that during the day waiting for ghouls...

I spent three weeks off and on hunting for skulls, till finally I got in a PT that went into gusgen levels ranging from 22-33 and only killed ghoul after ghoul, Finally got me a skull XD, Best bet is to find a party were no one needs a skull but you and go hunting ;) Give me a tell when im on tomorrow and ill see if I can help ya out and ill get my posse together XD

well, after hearing you two's stories i begin to consider myself as lucky in terms of skull hunting. 2 nights ago a pt. of 5, (1 rdm 1blm, 1mnk, 2war, lvl range 16-18) went to gusgen mines for ghouls. 4 of us needed a skull and after spending 4 hrs, 3 went home happy. (i was one of 'em) there were enough ghouls for us to pull and one of the tip is to cast all the Cure II you can onto them.

the first hour and half we had no luck but later on skulls start coming. "good things happen to those who wait..." , guys.

so i hope these two keywords help.. Gusgen...WHM. =)
