Anyone know where to get this spell? NO one seems to know. I'm in windhurst right now, but I can travel if necessary.

You can check the Black mage section. All I remember is that it's a quest in San d'Oria. Novalmeuge or something at the Prison in the Chateau gives it to you if you give him Beastmens Blood. The red kind. That's all I know. :spin:

I believe you need to be SanDorian to do that quest. You may need to enlist some help if you're from Windurst.

umm, if they give it only to sandorians, how am I supposed to get one? no one is going to give it to me, they would want it for their own black mage? is there any other way to get it?

You do not need to be San'Dorian to get the quest. You do however need to have a certain amount of fame or else you wont get the quest. My character is from Windurst and I did the quest already so I know :P

If you are looking for the beastmans blood you need for the quest take a look in the AH today in Windy. I just put it up for sale last night it may still be there. This stuff is not ez to get. I did get two and sold one to somebody else in SanD. Get it while you can. :)

Since you're windhurstian, you'll have to do a lot of quests in Sand to get the quest for drain spell. probably about 30+ quests to get it. Just doing enough quests to get into the Chateau will take you some time. Do a lot of the easy repeats, do some of the ones that you can do easily by buying stuff from AH to do the quest.
Once you get into the Chateau, go to the prison. It's on your right as you enter the Chateau. Down the stairs. Talk to Novalmauge(he's walking around the prison). Get beastmen's blood to finish the quest. You can buy it at auction in Sand for about 5k...at least that's what i sell them for. If you don't want to buy it, go kill leach threads. They drop them the most frequently.
The hardest part of getting the spell is getting enough quests done to get the quest for the drain spell. Just buy the beastmen's blood at AH. GL

Yeah to confirm simpletruth's information. I am windurstian and have done 20 quests and he still won't give me the quest. Someone on my LS told me he had to do 25 of them so that is what I probably believe I will have to do. Goodluck..

takes 25 quests to have the quest offered to you, everything else said about the beastmen blood is true, except i've been looking to buy it for the past week and no luck heh
