Axes and sickles

I know axes are for chopping down trees, and the pick axe is for mining (both related to guilding) but what is the sickle for? Does it have a use for harvesting raw items like the axe, or is the sickle for some quest that has nothing to do with guilding? I've seen logging points and mining points but never a location that has use for a sickle.

Sickles are used on "Harvesting Point"s...

you use them in only a couple quests...

Ah, I see, thanks. I haven't seen any harvesting points so I was wondering about it. I probably need to travel more.

theirs some in west sarutabaruta as well. near the ledge that runs along the entrance to giddeous
