People am selling your stuff way much too overpriced. <--- good enough for Engrish.com.
When I wanted to buy a scroll of Poison in San'doria, I went to the auction house and it was going for around 300 gil. then I went to the magic shop and it was only 95 gill. A little over a 200 gil difference. That's how it is with most items. So, I know not everyone comes to this site, but please be fair in your auctioning at least a little better. :(!!
I'm a big fan of the auctions. You can make a good profit if you know what do look for. The prices seem fair in Windurst, with a few acceptions.

This happens a lot, some are ridiculous because the items are sold in teh very same kingdom. A lot of ppl make a profit by moving goods only found in other nations, I know ppl who move monk gear to sandoria, and spears and sickles to bastok.
A real issue i have noticed is that it seems very few ppl are crafting in the beta. I hope to see this pick up with the reconquest of saratuba and ronfaure. Many of the games items can only be crafted and selling ingredients is a great way for non crafters to make money as well, however like all things in teh AH the price can get out of control.

Whenever I auction something that costs over 200 Gil, I always check the store price (If it's available in that kingdom), and the Price History, and set it 10% lower than the lowest price available. Trying to drive down inflation a bit. ;P

Yea i like being one of the few crafters i make about 20k a night selling those silly brass harness's alone. then you add earrings and such into the mix.

What I think is funny about the auction house is that I put stuff in there like a brass cap I got I put it in there for 100 gil just to get some quick cash it sold. I went to the house to pick of the gil the person bid 500 to get it. So it isn't just the people putting a high price.
To get my prices I see what a shop is selling the item for. I take it down about 20% and sell it for that. Though times I get more then what I put it up for. What also strange was I put up some spells like blind and bind up for 1 gil and it doesn't even sell. The price history is just what people bid to get the items and have gotten.

The funnier thing is that they could sell it for 60 times more to an NPC.

Overpricing in AH was one of the reason why I returned to import and left the beta. Also the servers economy really sucked. I really didn't appreciate spending 6000gil on lvl 10 armor where i can pay the price of 2000gil AT THE MOST if not less right now. Items that I usually sold to get money for those items sell for crap.
But overall I think its general laziness. People wouldn't sell them for such high prices if everyone checks the other stores first. Either those that buy them forget to look or are to lazy to check the store. I think I fall into this catagory.

I noticed our areas outside our capitals were returned, but within the next tally both Sandoria and Windurst had lost their land again. Bastok still holds onto theirs...
What a coincidence.
