record your gameplay, sort of like PiNg did? Any help would be gladly appreciated? Arigato!
Carbuncle Rocks!!!
the game stores all the information for you on the server side i think... about last month Square put in moogles around the world which told us our play-history. and gave us presents accordingly....
those moogles are gone now. but well that was what make me believe the game stores it for you :)

Do you mean how long you have clocked in?
If thats what you are talking about, all you need to do is type "/playtime".
If thats not what you mean, explain it in greater detail and I will try and help.

Oh, ok.
The only way I know how to record off of a PC is rather expensive unless you have the stuff necessary. You need a camcorder of some kind (preferably newer). You need an attachment for firewire cables. Then you hook it up so you can record right from the screen. Its kind of complicated, so I suggest talking to a person who knows a lot more.

Couldnt you run a PS2 into the VCR, then the VCR to the TV. Record the PS2 on VCR, then take the tape and transfer it to digital media on the computer?

Or you could go right from the PS2 to the computer to get better quality, that is if your sound/video card can take the A/V jacks.

You really can't point a camera at a TV or computer monitor. A video capture card, like ATI's TV wonder, has video inputs that you could use to capture video off a PS2. If you wanted to capture video off PC, you could use the video card's TV out to a VCR, then play the VCR on a capture card. Or you could use two computers X3.

There are programs out there that let you record on screen videos with out the vcr/camcorder connections. I have to get you an name of one of the programs to tell you when I get home. But you just hit record and play your game and it records the images while you play. I have used it to make tutorial videos of showing people how to use programs.
