Past FF characters jobs.

This is just something more for fun than anything...plus it might help me out a little bit in defining the different jobs because I'm really not very familiar with them. But what characters from previous FF games are comparable to FFXI's jobs?

for instance: FFX
Rikku = THF
Yuna = SMN ... SMN/WHM?
Lulu = BLM
Auron = SAM?
Tidus = ???
Kilmari = Blue Mage?
Wakka = RNG/RDM???

for bonus points - define them by main/sub jobs

Steiner = ??
Garnet = SMN/WHM
Eiko = SMN
Freya = DRG
Quina = Blue Mage?
Amarant = MNK/RNG?

i think steiner is a warrior/paladin maybye knight if they make one and eiko is mer of a whm/smn cause she has lots of healnig and only 4 summons

i think tidus could also be considered /RDM cause of his speed spells like haste and slow...but i dont have any idea of his main job.

Zell: Monk

FFVII is a lot easier:

Cloud: WAR (soldier really but, hey)
Aeris: BLM/WHM
Tifa:MNK
Barrett: RNG/MNK? MNK/RNG? i dunno
Vincent: RNG
Cait Sith: BRD?
Yuffie: Ninja
Cid: DRG??

Yeah....I was thinking Tidus would be a War/Rdm as well.

and Kilmari would be more of a Blue Mage/Dragoon i suppose

if i remember correctly the guy on the moon was FuSoYa, the kids were Parom and Palom and the monk was uhm....uhh...i forget :sweat: i haven't played ff4 in awhile.

Ok tactics, this will also say a little about what i think of the series as a whole:
FFT:
Ramza: FF hero that actually has his act together BEFORE the end of the game (I know there are a few others, especially in 4 and 6, but a lot of the together ones in 6 also went off the deep end for a little while).
TG Cid: Most Unbalancing character in any game EVER.
WAR/THI/MNK/NINJA/SMN/DRK/PAL/GOD/DRG/RDM/WHM/3RDGRDTEACHER/URMOM/
Cloud: He's so lost at this pont, he can't even find the right game, just look at him, he got lost in Erghize and KH as well, and he WAS lost in FFT and KH too if you, until Ramza invites him and He gets stomped by Hades. That's ok though, I thought Squall was much more confused and thought KH was kinda unrealistic in that regard :)
Beowolf... I still kinda have mixed emotions about this one

Dragon lady, along with cloud, beowolf, and a ton of others, gotten so late in the game, ya just donno what to do with her.
Agrias... can't really tell from the character sprite that well, but I bet she's hot :biggrin:

We FFIV and FFV both used all the class in FFXI. FFIV you start as a Dark Knight then become a Palidan. And FFV you can change your class with CRYSTALS you get from the four world crystals being destoryed. Hmm sounds to me like they based FFXI on FFV....

i do believe you meant to use a V instead of an X. in roman numerals I is one, V is 5 and X is 10, so what you put is ff9, 10 and 11, not 4,5,6.
