Becoming a game master for FFXI?

I was just curious if anyone knew any information about becoming a GM for FFXI. I have looked on the SE website and found they are hiring GM's to be based out of Japan. I know in other games in the past you could GM from your home. Will this be possible for FFXI or is the only way for you to GM to be bilingual and be from Japan? I was talking to a current GM the other day and he thought that there would be NA based GM's for when the game is released stateside. Any ideas or knowledge of this stuff would be greatly appreciated.:p

I'm not completely certain if they hire outside of Japan, because all the servers, including those which include American players, are based in Japan.

they announced about GM hiring about half a year before for the us version. they require applicant send in profiles in both english and japanese. and required both fluent in english and japanese.

not sure if they require you to live in japane however.

Yeah it a good idea :cool: to be super good in ffxi but i have to wait to march to have my new PS2 and FFxi:mad: :sweat:
