MNK/DRK woudn't it be a good combo?

Since MNK can atack two times, has good HP and VIT if you join a DRK it would higher the STR and make a good combo. It woudn't push the MNK good points down much and it would also push down the points that won't make difference. You woud have a two atacking strong monk with better Dex.
So, do you think it's a good combo.

Since I couldn't be a taru ninja I took up hume monk, just hit 30 and am taking up dark as a subjob... seemed good enough of an idea for me :)

I had the same thought. With the STR increases from DRK sub, I'd think that it'd be pretty sweet. It'd be more straightforward (STR increase) rather than a tactical increase like having a warrior as a sub. Just don't expect to cast too many spells. Monks have 0 MP and DRK aren't to strong in that area either. Seems like everyone suggests MNK/WAR, so I think MNK/DRK would be a nice change of pace too.

This is the class combo I plan on trying out. It sounds pretty good. Guess we'll have to see hot it plays out :)

And... I don't want this combo to use magic, its atack would stronger than the BLK mgc...
