Samurai/Ninja?

I was just wondering about this...I should be getting my expansion soon and need to do the quest. I dont really like Warrior job very much and thought Ninja was good for Sam. Since I hear Ninja's can equip to weapons...even as your sub. Can't you equip two 1 hand katana's with this job combo? Thanks in reply. I also saw the level 10 duel ability for Ninja just asking if this job would be okay..

Although I don't actually own the game, as far as I know, Ninjas are the only class in the game that can wield 1H Katanas. Also, I've heard that dual wield isn't all that useful, because it combines not only the damage, but the delay as well.

Anyways, why would you want to use dual wield seeing as your two best weapon types (2H Katana and 2H Spear) both use 2 hands?

personally im going samurai all the way. it gives one thing to focus on AND by sticking with it, rather than switching, it yields a more powerfull character. you just need to round the character off Before the samurai initiation/ quest/ thingy. i myself, as much as i love ninjas, am opinionated towards samurai

Lol he's talking about a sub for samurai not which job to decide on. in other words, which sub he should have for his SAM. I only see ninja as a good sub towards thief or ranger. Ups agi and dex like they want, and the duel wield - though as Xavz said, doubles the delay, you'll notice a thief with two daggers builds TP quicker than a thief with just one dagger. But the problem is with subbing ninja for sam - again as Xavz said, you won't be able to duel wield sams top two weapons, Katana and Spear. (plus you wouldn't have taunt and double attack and defender and all that good stuff if you didn't go with war *snicker*>.>) <-shameless plug for war sub.
