To find it's skills get out of this polls and search in the right column for the abillities and manny other things.
It is a good combination.
You can also make it with an elvaan so you would get mor STR and MP but less VIT and HP.
You could also (and I recomend you to) swich to DRK/WAR, it's dificult, but it would get you a higher magical power and MP.
You must want black magic, but if you're not much interested, you could also make WAR/PAL or PAL/WAR if you want white magic. Both are good.
My opinion, you've got the choice.
Pick one...

this time I didn't click the wrong button!
...I hope...

WAR/DRK is a BAD combo. You get A LOT less MP and you get lower stats all across the board except for STR which stays the same!

That's not true!!
Check this (http://ccwf.cc.utexas.edu/~nhart/Status_calculator.htm) and make the difference between a non support job warrior (at level 70) and a warrior (at level 70) with a DRK support job!

... Abslolutely like you said...

Yeah... I said that too. But get DRK/WAR is much difficult to get!
And DRK/WAR being better than WAR/DRK dosn't mean WAR/DRK isn't a good combination! And it is a good combo.

You must complete the DRK quest, or you must complete the DRK sub-job quest (the second is for the sub-job, of course).
Ho... I forgot, to set WAR as you're main job, you have to complete the sub-job quest like DRK. (ofcourse you have to go to the mog house, but that you know...)

I thought that there was only one quest for DK, and then you could use it as sub or main. Or did you mean you have to complelte the subjob quest at level 18?

You have to be in level 30 to complete an advanced job quest (in this case, the DRK job) and you have to be in level 18 to complete the sub-job quest.
Without th sub-job quest, you can't set DRK as you'ren sub-job. I'm almost certain that the sub-job quest isn't specific for DRK, that there isn't a specific sub-job quest for DRK, once you complete that quest you'll be able to set all you're jobs as you're sub-job.
