House Plants?

Ok, how do house plants work? I have a bunch of seeds and I know that I need a pot but why would I want to grow plants? One player was telling me that he can harvest a ton of Fire Crystals but wouldn't tell me how. Any ideas on this?

Fo me, the reason I grow plants is to make my house looks a lil cooler. Thats about it, the only reason.

Well, you do need a pot, and seeds. You are most likely going to need a crystal.
Well you first set the pot somewhere in your mog house, not a rent-a-room. Then you look at the pot, from the gardening option in yur mog-house, then you "sow" the seeds with the pot. But you first must have the seeds in your mog safe, not in your own item inventory. Then you have to coem back somttime later, like the next day or something.
After a while, it will say something like "the plants don't look so good Kupo!". It then gives you the chance yo incorporate a crystal with the plants. The crystal must also be in the mog safe.
Again, after a while, the plants will be ready to harvest. When you harvest them, you get stuff, like Tau-Taru rice, or peppers. Well i personally jus sell the stupid stuff.
But if u dont harvest the plants in time, the plants will die, and you jus wasted plants, a crystal and your time, all which anybody barely has, at least or me :(

Thanks. That's a huge help. Now I just have to figure out how in the world that guy was able to get Fire Crystals to grow.
