Samurai Quest

Hey, i was looking adv. job quests here and i couldnt find the samurai. can anyone give me an URL or explanation about how to get samurai... yeah i know it is not unlocked in beta but i still want to know how to do the quest... thanks a lot for ur help in advance...

I am not sure if you know or not but the quest isn't even available in Beta anyway. Neither is the Ninja quest, so I wouldn't worry about it anyway but if they enable it come find me in game and i'll show you what to do. Too much to post, cause i have to have talk to my friend who reads Jap to get all the detail because i don't trust my memory. He's a great source!:thumbsup: But If it is enabled it will be the first thing i do so you can all come with me:biggrin:

here's the basics of the samurai quest.

first you need a kazham airship pass, either buy one for 200k I think, or get treasure chest keys from Giddeus, Palborough, and Yughott and trade them to quest giver for airship pass.
Once in kazham travel to norg through the jungle and through sea serpents grotto.

Talk to Juac something for the quest, he gives you two items.
Go to zitah and find some tree, use item he gives you I think, and a pickaxe or something and a NM will appear, kill and investigate ??? on tree to receive item.

Go to Konschat highlands and trade other item he gave you to make NM- Forger appear, kill and investigate ??? to receive item. One one item per kill, so if many people must wait 3 minutes before being able to kill again.

Go back to Juac, trade him items, wait three real time hours and talk to him again to receive samurai job and a level 1 katana.

on a side note, keep the level 1 katana, it's EX, but you need it for the Artifact 1 quest.
I threw mine away and had to rebuy it for 30k in order to do AF1 (-_-)

What levels do ya suggest for the SAM quest NMs, I'm about to do in an hour with two other lv30 buds. RDM, WHM, and me Monk.

Level 30s have a hard time hitting the tree NM - i today solod both it and the bomb though lol =\ so if you still need the NMs tomorrow i can help you guys get those. Though i think 3 level 30s could probably handle the bomb NM.
