Item Transfer?

I havn't played FFXI yet, but will be on import soon, so I'm curious about one thing. Can you transfer items from 1 character to another...if so, how?

Do you mean between two different players or two of your own characters?

If you mean between players, then yes it's possible :biggrin: You can set up your own Bazaar (shop) and have people buy your unwanted items. There's also an auction house where you can put your items up for bids. I don't believe you can just give things away for free though...

As for between your own characters, no I don't think you can...at least not yet.

You can also transfer items through the Trade command. Also, in front of every Auction House is a person who can send thing to other players via mog mail, free of charge. You can use that NPC to send items directly to the receiver's mog house.

adding to what maxim said yes you can transfer between your characters
as long as they are on same server.
so if you have a character that you want togive itesm,gil to just go to AH and click on the mail guy and input the characters name youcan even send stuff to yourself this way.

question ...why would i want to send things to my self?

answer if you are in a PT and about to leave and dont have inventory space or mog is full and you need the extra capacity on your person. it acts liek a sub bank .
