uh oh looks like theres gonna be lots of tester terminations. but notice it also says they might beta tester accounts, so its all up to playonline to decide who is out or in. I guess its a warning not to piss them off too much :confused: . And as for those who like to show the all insides of the hdd and instruction guides or watever, i'd tread lightly if i were you. (i'm not a tester so i'm hating on u guys jk lol)

Yea apparently, you cant even say your a beta tester, in doing so would violate your agreement..... lol, its kinda weird.

don't sweat it, companies have all kinds of stupid rules but it's not worth their time to investigate and go through with any threats. everyone is too concerned about the agreement you had to make as a beta tester. don't waste your time on this, it's been talked about non-stop since the beta was first received by testers and so far all it's done is separate the men from the cowards. it's really pointless to make so many threads that talk about this.

In the context of things, it seems they mean you cannot show pictures taken from the POL viewer, not FFXI in-game. Moreover, this would conflict with what the beta's GMs have been telling people. They told many beta testers that you can take and show pictures of playing FFXI, but not any pictures of the beta kit itself.

i'm gonna move this to the FFXI Information forum, as this is pretty much just one screenshot as a part of the discussion. ^_^

I understood that as you cant show the Contents of the game and The POL viewer. FFXI ingame shots woudlnt make a lick of difference ... seeing as we have live cams and japanese pics out the wazoo as is.

It specificly says :
We prohibit you from revealing any contents of the Beta test to the public in the tester agreement. You can not use pictures or texts of"PlayOnline" such as any screenshots of Windows version's Beta test in your personal web site.

So this would also mean your not allowed to show a picture of their website, hehe.

how do you access that site? I've tried it befor, but I got an error saying that I was forbidden to go to it, even though I'm in beta, where do I go to access it?

Also, I'm having trouble recieving my email on POL, it says I have to enter my email account password, where do I do that?

the user/password r in the beta box....& its the pictures that include text that r not allowed to be posted....my screenshot was just me letting u guys know S-E's policy on pics & proof i have the beta...the GM oked the PS2 beta cus POL's picture program leaves out the text....S-E wants u to use that program for the PC aswell and not an outside program
