Recieved Today Nvidia Beta

Today I got home and recieved a beta Package from Nvidia, and after all the trouble i went through with ATI.

I live in California, San Joaquin Valley

How do you guys know nvidia is coming by UPS? he didnt even answer yet.:sweat: So far i've seen most say they got thier nvidia by mail, regular mail.

Yeah a least some of the SE testers have received the kits. *impatienly waiting, full of anger and rage* Your not the only on who has received a faulty cd. Let me guess just like everyone else the 3rd disk file data3.cab is fudged up?

I got it United States Postal Service, I signed up on the first day but I do not remeber what time. Sorry guys..

Nvidia Test Kits are being Shipped out of Fremont California, from some fulfillment center, which would explain why I got mine early

Worry not Strapps. Nvidia has 1000 kits and probably took at least a day and a half to fill. Remeber it took until 3:30 am of the second day for all of IGN's spots to be filled and they only had about 100 kits.

I applied for the Nvidia beta before I knew I had been accepted by Squenix and I definitely applied on the first day sometime....if I do got an Nvidia one as well...Ill have to give it away to some lucky person on these boards.......

Well Im not even sure if I got in the Nvidia beta, but if I do get one from them, I wont sell it, thats just not right. Ill just have to think of a great way to give it away to someone on these boards!

I dont think its possible to get more then one beta, unless SE screwed up. I thought all beta promotion winners were sent directly to SE where they would send them out from there; and would check for doubles.

If that was the case i dont think any of the promo winners would have gotten their kits by now due to this uber screw up.

That would definitely make since, however Square hasnt been doing that a good a job double checking anything else during the PC beta roll out. Plusm why would the Nvidia betas be coming standard mail if they were just sent from Square? I heard that each promo contest already had the betas in hand and after their respective contests they would habdle shipments indivdually, hince the reasons most promos are coming mail and the SE beta is coming UPS(UGH). Either way I dont care, Im just curious.

I would say its more like the place in clearwater, or what ever it was, sent the beta's out to nvidia, ati, ign and what not on the second. Then the promo's started mailing them out themselves. Its either that or they sent them out a day or two early. If the promo places would have had them before the second and they are sending them out via regular mail we would have had them before now.....

For a moment, just a moment I thought about saying before the Square-enix beta testers got theirs but..... Some still haven't gotten them.:sweat:

what do you mean mistake? I think they were just making sure all the great people [me] got it first. heh...j/k. I didn't get in to the s-e one anyway. And logically, shipping from the center of the country is a much better idea than shipping from either coast, from the center, it will arrive everywhere sooner. That and s-e has a storage place or something out in clear lake with their name on it (or rather a PO box, but they own a building).
Anyway, sorry to go off topic.

No, the strike is coming, nooooooooooooooooooooooo. We will never have our beta... well maybe but itll be long, very long.
