Does ANYONE play Tetra Master?

I just got FFXI beta and but I'm having some issues trying to get FFXI to work. In the mean time, I decided to play Tetra Master until FFXI starts working again. During the time I spent I noticed something very interesting; NO ONE IS PLAYING TETRA MASTER!!! I must be the only person playing this game. I get to see a few people hanging around there but I was expecting a lot people. Is everybody too busy with FFXI or is Tetra Master really a crappy game? I'm enjoying it even though I don't really know how to play it but I'm learning quickly. Maybe I'm not playing it during the busy hours. I guess I should wait until more people get beta. Until then, I'm gonna try to become a Tetra Master master.

personally, i think it woulda been better if they used Triple Triad. I found it to be much simpler and more fun. ^_^

At First I felt the same way, cause Tetra Master can be a pain to figure out, sometimes you have a kick ass killer card and it gets defeated by a superweak card and you can't do anything about it but feel cheated. But after a while of playing it on FF11, I've grow very attached to it (play it more than FF11). So I'm glad they put it in, besides, in japan they released a piece of software called "Final Fantasy VIII Desktop Accessories" and that comes with a bunch of things including a full version of Triple Triad that's playable in a window (and playable over LAN). It's RIDICULOUSLY hard, much harder than the FF8 game version. So to be fair, Tetra Master is the game that belongs on Playonline. Besides, Tetra Master has been beefed up and it's a huge upgrade over the FF9 version. The 3 player option kicks so much ass.

Why play a card game when you can be playing ffxi?

besides, tetra master is teh suck, triple triad is the game that actually takes some skill, but not like 4 years of playing to figure out.

what they should do is allow you to play the game from WITHIN ffxi, like if you are bored or something.

tetra master is actualy a very good game but people would rather play FFXI.

I think that Tetra Master is better than Triple Triad, if it is the same as in FFIX.
What don't you get in it, I thought that it was pretty easy to get the hang of and it relies more on strategy than just getting the best cards.

hey bud, yeah I kinda have the same dilema. I have to wait till my vid. card comes in till I can play FFXI. I tried it with my vid card I have now.... let's just say I can't even pull up the character creation screen :sweat: lol anyway, in the meantime... I play tetra master. Look me up. "Eresse"

Dont brag about Perfects... they happen a lot mainly because someone lays a card that has a lot of or all arrows and you just happen to have the last move and you attack that card.. take it.. and it combos all of them.. i would only be amazed if this was a 3 player game...

I'm really confused about all teh card ratings.. doesn't it start high and go down or is that for some different stat.. i dunno :P

There isn't a lot of ppl on Tetra Master yeah so most people play the COM but if you start a game then others would probably join.. i'll play people as long as they don't own like.. super amazing cards (like *'s for every stat lol)

Off Topic: They should put Triple Triad in PlayOnline :) it was simple and fun.
