Information About The imported FFXI

Ok so im really thinking of getting an imported version of ffx1 since i heard someone said that you can keep your same char from the jap version onto the Us version.now other questions.Does anyone know If the japanese Hardrive can be use with the US version of FFXI. Plus does anyone know where i can get all the stuff to play FFXI on my US. Playstation.All help will be appreciated.

accually i think u can because what do u call importers doing to the jap. servers. my real question iscan u have urold account if u by the NA version and type in ur account. dude ill e pissed if i can play my sam when the NA version comes out i mean it will make thinks unbalanced but from the begining square has been saying that NA and JAP. people could play together

Well they are guessing I belive, I haven't seen some type of link saying about how importers can transfer there files to NA. Most importers imported because they just wanted to play the game for fun. Not to be strong before NA comes out. ;)

i dont wan to be strong but i really want a lasting SAmurai and i refuse to make a charachter then remake them when NA version comes out

Well look I dont care if you can use the same char or not what i want to know if where do you get all the stuff like the hdd the game the chip to play it on the us ps2 info like that.I hope the poeple who imported teh game can help me out here

If your talking about the Mod chip.. it wont work ^^
