Is this a good thing?

I would like to know if I should do this. I want to make a Warrior/White Mage is that a good thing to do? If not please tell me what is a good thing to do:confused:! Thanks to whom ever tells me.

as long as you're a warrior. /whm is not useless.
but you will need to drink juice or find bard or redmage to help you generate MP. sitting is not good for warrior to do.

Yeah, when you rest you lose TP, and for a warrior, that's not a good thing as Jei said. However, most of the time you'll only heal when you or one of your party member's HP is low, or if you're trying to generate hate so that the monster will attack you.

Then can some one tell me what is good for a warrior to have as a sub job?

warrior can pretty much sub everything. because they already have "taunt" ability on their own.

some common sub for war i've seen (and i think work) are
war/mnk - work great if you're the main tank. extra HP, more VIT, guard and counter attack
war/thf - also nice. THF's sneak attack and boost your WS quite a bit. still a nice add
war/whm - also works. just need to worry about how you gonna heal your MP.

other sub job will give different bonus. so depends on what you want to do, each sub job will suite diferent purpose. the 3 I mentioned however are the best for party play IMO.
