Windows Beta Testers Online Already

Why would they be lying? If I'm not mistaken, they sent out the betas yesterday, correct? Well I'm sure the people that live right by the place it's being shipped got it today.

Seems kind of fishy since only 1 person out of all the PS2 testers mentioned that PC players have logged on. They might have just mistook PS2 testers who were just starting out for whatever reason as PC testers.

More than likely it was the first wave betas that went out, IE the official square beta. I think the promos are going out around july 9th.

well somebody out there in the PC world must have gotten their betas because if u look at the Square Enix web page they have posted ( on july 1st) that the windows beta has commenced .... must be true

They did the same thing just before the ps2 beta testers received their kits.

Yeah I highly doubt anyone got their kit yet.. im expecting mine in 1-2 days (thrusday or friday)

Well no beta here yet. IN texas though that would be the shiznit if I were to get it on the 4th of july. but it needs to get here before the 7th becaue my Summer 5 week Japanese II course starts then

Mail will be 1 day behind because of 4th of July.

Everyone who works for the government gets every pettie holiday off, which includes USPS (United States Postal Service), and I believe UPS (United Post Service), but I am not for certain on UPS.

Hmm i wonder if they will really need UPS to deliver the PC beta? I mean think about it: The PC beta should consist of anything but a few discs, so why couldnt it be shipped in the regular mail? THe PS2 one was shipped via UPS cuz of the HDD. But who knows? Maybe if its UPS it'll come faster:sweat:

UPS is not a gocernment orginization, but do to many strikes and such things, they give their employees all the holidays and benefits you could think of. So if it sent UPS or USPS, it wont be delivered on the 4th.

(Then again I could be wrong)

I signed up for promos so I wouldn't be expecting anything soon. Just want to know what I should be looking out for in the next couple weeks incase I got in.

I don't know. I will ask S-E, but if you signed up through 3rd party(i.e. nvidia), it may be different for you.
