Samurai Skills

I was wondering if you get a samurai to max lvl with all its abilities then sub it to because a Dragoon or whatever do you lose some of your abilities? Or do you keep the ones u have learned to till that point when you sub your job?

You get the skills equal to half the level of your main job. For instance if your Dragoon is level 60, and you sub your Samurai which is also 60, you will only get the skills up to level 30.
