How do I join a guild?

Is there a guild master in game that I can talk to to join a guild? I want to join the Blacksmith guild but I don't know who to talk to. I've spoke to the guy standing in a room with 3 forges and 3 other blacksmiths, is he the guy that I need to speak to?

yes, most likely that would be him/her. The guildmasters are usually in a corner by themselves, just talk to them and then a wwindow will pop up asking you if you would like to join
