What's the average damage and attack rate of a 2H Katana?

And you are correct. For the most part Katanas are usually stronger than most 2H swords, but have a slightly longer delay period. It's nice when you land a hit but if you miss. . gyuhh you really feel the delay.

you know i can't honestly vouge for sythes =\ as i havn't used one myself. from what i have seen tho, they seem fairly similiar - i'll compare stats - probably tomorrow for u and post back here later.
