I was just thinking about this combo. The RDM's attack will add to the Samurai's attack. Plus the RDM's magic is alwayd nice.
samurai attack is already super powerful on their own actualy. in a party play I think using something that boost your power right away without having to spend time casting magics will be the best.
/rdm gives you healing magics.. that's the most useful spell you'll get acutally. It can be a great help when you are on your own without whitemages or any healers. but in a party you better leave the healing task to us mages :) and concentrate purely on attacking.

Not to forget, after the level cap is raised and you are high enough level you will get Phalanx... So if you were to do a big WS combo by yourself or finish one you can cast Phalanx before it is performed so that the damage from the monster afte ryou are aggroed will be lessened.

A Phalanx is the battle formation that the Greeks used. It was a wall of soldiers that were in different rows with long spears.
But RDMs learn a spell called Phalanx... I don't know what that does though...
