Redmage/Dragoon?

I was thinking doing a RedMage/dragoon combo. Good idea?

I don't really know what benefits Dragoon gives as a sub job. You don't get the Wyvern so that's one cool thing out the window. Also you can't equip any decent dragoon weapons as a RDM (spears etc). It will increase your STR and VIT, I think but so does a Warrior. I honestly can't think of any merits to using Dragoon as a sub job.

Ooh i see, what if i do the Dragoon/RDM? What would i loose from the abli of the RDM?

Well you don't get the 2 hour SP ability - continuous magic - but that's not a major loss. Also the RDM already gets most spells later than WHM and BLM. By making your RDM a sub, you are just going to be further behind with your magic.

I don't know if jump will be useful for RDM. apart from using it as an instant monster caller, I don't think it I'll do any damage jumping with 1 hand sword
