Can spells that are earned under a different job be used without that job being a main/sub job; i.e. :

-If I use WHM until I get curega, then switch to RDM, can RDM use curega without WHM being a main/sub-job?


According to the magic list on this site, a lot of RDM spells that fall under the whitemagic category are used for "self", can spells for self be used on PT members aswell?


Does RDM make a useful subjob, I was thinking to summoner.


The RDM seems to be a good job, but I am wondering if WHM may be a little more beneficial.

No you may only use spellls avalibe to you job/sub job.

Self spells can only be used on yourself hence the self.

Rdm is a usefull sub job because of a spell (forget name) that can sitch you hp with your mp thus giveing you a bitchload more mp to use spells. And rdm has the fast cast ability which kicks major ass.

If you want to be a full on healer go whm style. Rdm as you know is an all around class that can heal fight attack magic and buff, good at all but master at none.

Spells must be bought but some classes do start out with a spell already.
