Weapons Question

Someone had mentioned a scythe as a weapon, which job can use the scythe or can all?

Which weapons/equipment improve the amount of MP and ability to restore MP?

Go into the Race & Job to learn more about what each job can do.

Anyhow, the scythe is the weapon of choice for a Dark Knight. Warriors can wield them too though, they can practically use any weapon in the game, give or take a few special ones. I don't think any other jobs can use a scythe.

Staffs obviously are a mages weapon of choice because it offers benefits to magic... some offer MP boosts, others offer other statistical benefits like +INT, +MND, etc. Certain rings and/or other apparel help increases stats as well.

i have heard somewhere in the Race & Jobs section that maces are used by WHM. is this true vissione?

Yes, they use maces/hammers in their early lives to pound on the mobs. You won't see high level mages using hammers unless they have some kind of special bonus to their magic power. Since they don't have to be close to the monster, they'll sacrifice attack power for extra MP or anything related to magic power.

as far as the ninja and samurai jobs go are there going to be katanas and if your a blacksmith can you make one ??

i would think kantanas would be in the game as seeing how they've been almost all the other ff sereies dont you agree?
