Are Samurai too popular?

Samurai seem to be the most popular advanced job, is this true? Are the serves flooded with samurai walking around waiting for PTs? If so I might change my mind if everybody was a samurai :/

at one point it did seem that way - but no servers arn't over-ran by samurai. it's actually well balanced. especially in the higher levels.

samurai's went to, 1 of the less popular job's, when the expansion first came out in Japan, to the one of the most popular jobs now.

hmm i'd say the opposite of that - except with summoner being most popular at first. due to the fact you could earn it before and without the expansion.

I dun care if samurai's are popular... im sure there are more Warriors and Dark Knights out there than samurai anyways... I only saw 2 Samurai's when I watched the Lived Cam for about 2 hours... I saw one Galka Samurai ... boy did he look ugly

i've been playing for a little over 2 weeks now. and i've seen tons of Paladins(TONS), warriors, monks, dark knights. but to tell you the truth. i've only seen ONE SINGLE samurai. maybe its just because i'm in windhurst and melees and windhurst arn't exactly the place to be. BUT to my knowlage Samurai seems to be rare, at least at low lvls.

at least it is on my server O.o

i don't know why. but one idea was taht maybe the quest is hard?

All i no is i want to be a samurai so i can use a type of sword all thor the game and not have to swich to a axes so im going for it as soon as i can.

Popular or not, i still want to be a samurai. I love the thought of cutting my foes in 2 with a latana =D
