Responded to one of his posts i think and he said elvaans were the best sam tanks..........i told him it would be Galka since they have best def and basically everyrthing better but little less atk and mp...Then he got really pist at me and said Galkas should not be like Elvaans, and something like they should be fixed.....does this guy really hate Galkas or something? Do people hate them? why?:dead:

People have there different thoughts on who is the best at what and so on and so fourth ... stats are not the major thing you should worry about in a battle you should worry about how intelligent you are at using your Weapon Skills and setting up Renkei's with Samurai's... if he wants to hate on elvaan's let him it's not really your problem... and if you want stats in writing just checkout the FFXI Stats Calculator

you're somewhat correct - however stats DO matter come tank time. no amount of skill or ability is gona help how well you take hits - and if mages can't keep up with how fast you lose HP you're not a "good" tank. also i wouldn't exactly trust stat calculators =\ they always seem off now that i've been able to test them.

Samurai's are not the greatest tanks but if your trying it and not succedding let a paladin take your place ;)

I don't think Sams were meant to really be tanks.

The only reason they have balanced stats is probably to deal with the hate that they can get doing the 'One-Man Renkei's.

Well Samurai's aren't made for tanks. They are made for powerhouses for attacking.
