WHAT DO EACH MEAN AND HOW DO I USE THEM TO MY ADVANTAGE(LETS SAY I WANTED TO BE A MELEE PERSON AND MY ADVANCED JOB WAS A DARK KNIGHT AND SUB WAS DRAGOON WHAT SHOULD MY JOB BE???)

Dont post in all caps...First of all you asked what your job should be your job is going to be of course Dark Knight as your main and Dragoon as your sub job. You use them to your advantage by using the right kind of jobs with other jobs and level up :).

Job:

Your primary class

Sub Job:

Seconday job that effects your primary job in various ways. You need to complete a quest that is available at lvl 18 to attain the ability to apply a subclass.

Advanced Job:

Jobs that can be unlocked at lvl 30 by completing various quests. Each quest will unlock a certain Advanced Job.
