Thief Help

i'm thinking of making a thief, and i was wondering what would be the best race and subjob would go for it. thx in advance :biggrin:

Mithra is the best race but in case it doesnt work out plan ahead ... hume are well rounded so incase u decide to change to a mage class yur stats wont suffer too much ... best sub job imo is warrior for thief that is then later on u could become a Ninja/Thief

sorry if my post wasnt readable ... anyway i plan on becoming a Monk and i decided to have Thief as my subjob ... after im able to get advanced jobs i may switch to Samurai as my main job and Monk as my sub job ... i would not abandon thief tho *i heard that gill is a pain to come by in 11*

Ok thanks, i was planning on being a thief the whole game, cause i was looking at the main site's skills. and since your subjob's level is half of what your main job is, i couldnt get a lot of good thief skills. so here's another question. since i'm doing a thief, would a thief / ninja work? or is that a bad combo? sorry if its a stupid question:sweat:

ninja/thf is really strong. feel free to use it anytime. it works the best when you hold 2 swords or 2 daggers tho so when you still using grapples you should consider /war and /mnk

Ninja/Thief or Thief/Ninja? cause i wanted to do a thief/ninja :p

Thief/Ninja, because if you go the other way around you won't be getting a lot of the thief's best skills.

what's the best race for a thief/ninja, a Hume or Elvaan? I know mithra are the best for theives, just i'm a guy and i dont want a chick character...:dead:

Finally, a true man :P I'd go with Hume, because they are more well rounded, and Elvaans are ugly.. lol

Well to tell the truth i was actually thinking of doing a thief/ninja til i get a lot of money, (enuf to buy a crapload of arrows that is x.X) then changing to a Ranger/thief. Just i'm going to guess that'll take a while :dead:
