Help on expansion please

Ok anyone, when i go to set the expansion up i never get the instal button, so if i can't get the button what do i do?

Ok, its step 1 on the expansion set up on this page. · Expansion Setup. I dunno if that link will work, but you can also get it on this left side bar on the FFxionline.com page under "expansion setup". In step one it says to inset the disk, and press that botton. only, that button isn't showing up on my comp. it has baffled me. any ideas...? thanks.

OH! No. The instructions are for PS2. If you are a PC user, install from the setup on the CD, then go to STEP 16 on that PS2 guide to finish the expansion setup.

Step 16 is on page 2.

except that doesn't work either, for some odd reason. every time it gets to the install shield, i hit ok, and then nothing happens. it doesn't go into the actuall install. thanks for you help thus far man : ) if you figure this out i'll owe you big time. thanks.

First thing: Are you sure you have Japanese encoding enabled like this (WinXP)? http://www.ffxionline.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=42

If so, you might want to create a directory on your HD (anywhere), and then copy both CDs to that directory; then run the install from your HD. NOTE: When copying both disks, keep the file directory structure! Also, after the first disk and copying the second, if it ask to replace files, you may go ahead and press "yes to all" (it makes no difference eitherway, but yes ensure you copy the files).

Also make sure you are NOT running Final Fantasy XI and/or PlayOnline Viewer while installing the expansion!
