Is there any merit to this? The stats would be melee-friendly, it puts the dragon into caster mode, and you get the status etc spells that have a solid effect not dependant on int. Also, the decreased casting time would allow for rapid hate gain via healing or whatever.

Also, it seems Dragoon has a large charisma number. Would that compliment anything?

Edit: En-magic, self-only attack enchantments, another coup.

You might get away with it at lower levels before PT's kick into full gear, but word on the street is that melee jobs should typically sub a fellow melee job. And mages should typically sub a fellow mage job.

I have some experience with the DRG/RDM combo and have joined a few PT's this way , the really appreciate it in valkurm Where i can pull using Dia then poison then Jump as a macro . Which means In a few seconds Ive hurt is soem what and my dragon is attacking all the way to the PT.

I will sub rdm for my dragoon the whole way, reason is Im pretty well known on Ramuh now and people have confidence in my Pt ability and know I am a good player.
I have even joined a dragoon LS on Ramuh known as the Dragon devils.
Its funny But we have a member who has not done windurst m6 and wants to take three dragons level 25 against it. That will be interesting to say the least since we becoem effective at 35 with dragon killer ability.

I 'm gonna go on that mission as DRg/RDm, There will be a DRg/war and DRg/sam, RDm/war, and two casters fo rpure magic and heals.

Ill let you knwo how it turns out I have 11 levels to go.
