Black Magic and Summons

Can you cast Black Magic spells on your summons? Because I though I heard someone say that an enemy once casted a Black Magic spell on their summons and it was the same element as their summon and it healed them. :sweat:

It would be nice if we could heal our summons with their element using black magic. Would also make sense, in a way.

But in the FF series, hitting a monster with its element didn't always heal it, just hurt it MUCH less.

The summons could heal themself with their element

I have yet to play FFX for very long, I only saw the first summon, cuz I was over at my friends house when he got it. Never saw anything after that. Waiting to get my ps2 and ffx game back so I can play it, cuz im busy with the ones in the beginning of the series.
