Yeeeeep... This is what people do when they're waiting for another copy of FFXI so they can play again... Of course I would'nt have to wait if I had've payed that 3$ that I was behind on monthly fee.. So now.. I gotta buy the game all over again.. I can't wait 9months is more than enough of a break for me :sweat: Anyways let's make some magic *rolls eyes*

This is going to be a remake of the old story I wrote a long time ago while waiting for retail while all the cool kids played beta... Well here goes!(Here's the old one if you wanna compare.. I sucked ok.. Looking for a LS.)

Chapter I The awakening of the Dark

Gollo a eleven year old Tarutaru shuffled through the long grass of his backyard. It had been ages since it had been last cut, but he nor his parents cared. They lived in the middle of West Sarutabaruta, who would be frowning upon them for having long grass there!?

He slowly made his way to the elm tree, he often slept there underneath it, the Yagudo had never been a threat in the passed.. Probably because his father would take out any Yagudo that dare come near their land with his black magic. Because of this he felt quite safe sleeping there.. It wasn't like it ever got cold in Sarutabaruta.. But that night... That night something had drove those Yagudo to senselessly attack his family..

He awoke to a scream of a woman. Instants later he came to his senses in the middle of the night and realised it was his mother! Shortly after he noticed a flame spreading on roof of his house! He heard the scream of a yagudo, then another. His father was attacking them? No.. If his father had been attacking them why would there be so many as to be able to get into the house to light it..

"Run!! Run Gollo, I will bind these bastard beastmen!!"his father screamed panicing"You must make it out of here alive!! Take the scroll of Fire II!! Learn it and reap hell upon the beastmen in our memory!!"

Gollo knew this was serious, this was the first time he had ever heard his father panic!(no..not /panic) The yagudo stood in place as Gollo ran to the front yard.

Gollo's father ran to Gollo while the Yagudo were still bound too their spots, one of the yagudo whalloped Gollo's father over the head sending him to the ground, dead.. The scroll of fire II and his father's hat slid over too the adolecent tarutaru...

The young tarutaru ran off tramatised holding the scroll and hat close to his chest.. Crying, in pitty of himself.. In pitty of his mother.. His father...

It was dawn when Gollo had reached Windurst... He had never seen anything like it in his life. The tall buildings made him dizzy like he never imagined, the beautiful blue glowing plants glew beautifully in the dawns shadows.. This was his new home..

Gollo stood once again in West Sarutabaruta, Onion Staff in hand, his father's adventurer's hat on head.. It was just like he remembered it.. Warm, welcoming.. And his only real home.. He was a certified adventurer now, he was an official BlackMage just like his father before him.

He was proud.. Proud that he could become what his father wanted.. Now the only thing left was too use his new abilities to become strong enough to bear the magic of Fire II..
