Apologies for my extended leave, just had to get level 48  . Now on to the good stuff. Beastmaster Advanced Job Quest  Starting the quest was easy, and I quickly made my way to Qufim Island, giving a /cheer as I reached my destination.  Approaching the flowers I was supposed to examine, I came across the fearsome Kraken, an octopus mob, the inspiration for a particularly sought-after club.  Making sure I had Sneak on, I carefully snapped a close-up shot of this monstrous beast. I don't like how it's actually looking at me! T_T  Fortunately, when I asked a nearby skill-up PT to aid me in my quest, they agreed. High-level PLD and NIN ganged up on the Kraken, and reduced it to bits soon after.  Finally, night fell and I approached the bunch of glowing flowers. Pretty! ^^  Dietmund soon arrives and takes a closer look at the flowers, lamenting that the flowers wouldn't do any good - what we needed was the roots.  Now, who should turn up but Dietmund's ex-pet! Dietmund seemed surprised, and even thought a monster had spawned. XD  Despite being mistreated by Dietmund, the Chocobo nevertheless helped us find some roots which would cure Dietmund's son.  It would also appear that the Chocobo had forgiven Dietmund for his past mistakes, and offers Dietmund his back for the long ride home.  Back in Jeuno, I receive confirmation of Domingart's health. He hand's me a Beast Whistle and, if my memory doesn't fail me, some gil.  At the Chocobo stables, Dietmund seems to have patched things up with his old friend, who happily allows Dietmund to scratch his chin.  Dietmund then passes ownership of the Chocobo to Brutus, and asks him to take care of him... And I get to become a Beastmaster too!   I am once again thanked for my help. This could boost my ego alot! ^^' And there you have it, the Beastmaster Advanced Job Quest.  |

BST rocks! I love it! It is the perfect job for when you are in the mood to play but dont want to deal with people and parties. Great journal! ^^ Look forward to seeing more.
