wHAT do you look for IN a Journal??

I'm just interested in what you guys like most about journals, and what you'd like to see more of. Because i'm planning on making a big 'ol journal of me Drk ...the trials and tribulation(spelling?) of magnus. Let me in on what u guys would like to see and what aint so cool so i won't do that ...lol
Any info will be greatly apreciated.:spin:

Well, I guess I look for good content along with some nice, sw33t pics. If you've got a nice story, use pictures to enhance just how darned good it is. However, careful of the content, that it doesn't get too boring. Good luck and have fun with your journal! ^_^

Indeed, have fun! One of the things I most enjoy reading about is when people actually role play as the character. It help makes the character a lot more unique.

I also tend to get a tad bored with journals that go on and on about: "I did this, this, and this..." and I much rather prefer something like, "The sun rose this morning and I decided to go off a train with some of my friends. I had to wait in Bastok for a good hour! But eventually my friends finally came and we set off to train, not knowing what we may find. We eventually ran into a Yagudo, poor little Tarus don't like fighting up close so I ran at first sight of such an enemy. I finally gathered my courage, but still I chose to remain far from the monster and fire away my little Taru magic from a distance."

Basically, give a story to it. Most people don't enjoy reading a narrative, Spend a little extra time on the entries and it'll make others enjoy it as well as yourself. :D It's always fun to relive your experiences in the greatest sense.

Hey guys thanks for the input, i just downloaded fraps and i will also incoorporate(spelling?) a few video clips as well with the pictures so look out for me this Feb.

yeah definately a good journal is about your character, not moreso about .
Today i got online and did x,y,z.

its kinda more of a description of hjow your day went.
you can present a story that s not boring and filling at the same time.
I do understand that everyones a rp'er , but use some imagination.

Definitely look for RPing as the actual character first and foremost. Pics are a bonus.
