Update: The Art of Farming
We'll I finally decided to do an update on farming. Why you ask because usually farming is a boring subject and yes it is boring but that what I have been doing instead of exciting action and adventure

(you may get some pointers to for some good guranteed cash). I finally decided to go back to the mistress known as farming after about 4 days of camping Valkurm Emperor with no Emperor Hairpin drop, and 3 days of camping Mee Deggi the Punisher with no Ochiudo Kote (but plenty of Swift Knuckles  ). So with a week wasted of play time with little money earned I turned to farming again which is a much more reliable source of money. The farming I chose was the favorite among people 50+ which is Tiger and Treant hunting in Battalia. Why you ask what do these monsters have to offer well allow me to expliain.
Note: I farm with THF sub for obvious reasons because Treasure Hunter is a must for drops and Flee also helps when you are walking around all the time.
Now the first target the Treant

The spawn of the Treant is odd it spawns every 5 minutes in one spot directly accessable and another in a spot only accessable through Beaudeacine Glacier entrance to Battalia on a raised ground area (I like to camp here because there is no campers and Lumberjack spawns there which me and my LS have killed once with no Bloodsword drop

). Now the Treant drops 3 valuable things. First he drops the Dryad Root about 1/2 the time and 12 sell for 3.8k in AH. Next he drops Mistletoe about 1/4 the time which 12 sell for 45k in AH. Last is the Oak Log which drops about 1/5 the time, it is not stackable, and 1 sells for 5k in AH.

Now the second target the Sabertooth Tiger.

Now the Sabertooth tiger has 2 valuable items. The big cash cow item you might say is because of a wonderful quest in Sandoria that is repeatable. In this quest 3 Black Tiger Fang will get you 2.1k from a NPC. So the Black Tiger Fang drop about 1/3 the time and 1 is worth 700g because of the quest. The second item isnt worth as much and is annoying because it is not stackable unless you have 61+ leatherwork. This item is the Black Tiger Hide which does not stack and sells for about 350g a piece to NPCs.

To show you how much I do this here is a shot of me with my Black Tiger Teeth ready to unload.

I have been at this for about a week and a half now and the profits are much better then NM. It may be extremely boring but I am slowly doing it. I have now 1,200,000 gil and am very close to my goal of 1,400,000 gil to buy my precious Haubergeun (STR+5 DEX+5 ATK+10 ACC+10 AGI-5 EVA-20 alllll riiighhht). Sadly thought once I have the money I wont be able to spend it until I get my THF to 37 because a good THF requires Leaping Boots and Emperor Hairpin and I want to make sure I never have to work on THF again because of such expensive items.
Closing shot of me on a random airship ride using Bloodweapon (good looking but totally useless which seems to be a trend with DRK related things

).
