Broot -- diary of a mad galka

well first off let me say why i haven't done this before, too busy exploring and playing the beta really..

now that i'm pretty much a lvl 15 thief.. a landmark for thieves (sneak).. i can post a journal

Broot's goals: He's going to be a Galkan Thief/Ninja with THF being the primary.. you're probably thinking.. "Galkan thief?!" i say why not!

Broot's motto: If you see me -- it's already too late

quick recap: i've been playing the beta since last weekend.. so i've finished my first week at the beta.. met some cool people.. explored around.. generally had a fun time.. although im only 15.. i consider that high due to my limited playing time (damn work! damn it all)

anyhows..

Broot had an accident since he was young.. when playing innocently with some friends at the canyon of Tahrongi.. a goblin chased them and he fell down a ravine and landed on top of his head. Ever since then--Broot has been convinced he's a tarutaru! To make things worse.. he's been obssessed with what he calls the meow of the world.. with their graceful ways and sneaky methods.. he has emulated them to the best of his abilities!

he proudly calls Windurst his home.. he is a taru after all.. the open fields.. the lovely sky.. the trees.. and taru's.. lots of taru's all around!

don't make fun of him and his kind though.. he'll get mad! and when he gets mad... Broot smash!

ps2 :D the graphics are SO good, unbelievable.. this is the most polished mmorpg!

I honestly dont have any idea how a Galka could be a thief. How could they possibly sneak by? I wouldnt be surprised if the erth shook around me when i walked. Stealing is a whole different story. Their hands are HUGE. What are they stealing from O_o. Lol anyways, nice pics, never seen you in game though and i was just recently in the Windurst Area.

Yeah but I dont think Galka theves cares if the victimes sees what they steal. Cuz they cannot do anything about it ^^

ever since he can remember.. regions all over the world were controlld by the beastmen.. he has heard of rumors of Bastok and Sandoria reclaiming some of their lands back.. but the situation at windurst is far worse.. the taru's were beig picked on by the beastmen horde and hope was dwindling..

the news came like a storm in the night.. and being a small taru, Broot was scared and at the same time.. had chills up his spine and wanted to smash things--for some reason! Bastok and Sandoria have reclaimed their lands since the last time (tally).. but they have lost it.. and soon, it's official.. they will lose their regions

that was when the best of Windhurst came together on a conquest campaign to reclaim the land back from the beastmen horde! Bahamut's Legion.. finally roared

The Legion plus various Windurstians took the fight to the beastmen realm itself and destroyed everything they saw in Giddeus.. everyone fell to their might! The place was full of Windurstians who've had enough of the beastmen's reign..

it was hard work and when broot saw a small pond that had a natural bubbling fountain to it.. he wanted to jump in but everyone told him no

poor broot, he's big for a taru so he gets tired easily

it got so good until the caves.. became foggy and the earth shook and unmistakable dragon breath was sensed.. thoughts of fighting the dragon.. was gone... someday.. some other time.. not now though, not yet (no pics of the foggy caves, lol, tryin to get everyone together and not run into the dragon)

After the onslaught.. i'm proud to say that Windurst have reclaimed back the Sabut region and it will be official!

due to the success of the Sabu conquest raid.. Broot and others decided to take the Kolshushu region..

when we first got there windurst was barely halfway against the beastmen's dominance.. we fought a lot of goblins.. every goblin we saw.. we finally managed to catch up neck2neck but ust couldn't quite finish it off since we were all so tired..
that and distractions got in the way :D

Afterwards broont went back to the canyon to see if a nice dhamel would let himself ride on the back of him.. he is a small taru and taru's are not known for their weight so it shouldn't be a problem

just a quick update everyone.. the conquest raids by the windurstians spearheaded by bahamut's legion was a magnificent success!

the balance of power before were
1. san
2. bastok
3. windurst -- no regions controlled

after new tally?
1. WINDURST
2. bastok
3. sandoria
balance of power changes--all nations with 1 region controlled, woohoo!

Broot's adventures with.. a Dhalmel :D

Broot, being the small taru he is.. shouldn't be a problem to ride a Dhalmel's back.. off he went, to ride the wild beasts!

Broot saw the Dhalmel and like any good taru's wishing to ride their backs.. he took the high ground in order to jump on the animal.. one wonders what it is about Broot and high places and ledges :sweat:

Alas, the dhalmel didn't want to play with a friendly sneaky taru like Broot

Dhalmel get mad!

Eventually.. the dhalmel had to be put down and made Broot sad. So no pictures of the sad event when the Dhalmel is twitching to its death

Broot was playing in the canyons as usual.. when the sky darkened.. the earth grew angry.. the wind blew, the dust striked painfully.. an earth elemental made its presence known! This was an incredibly tough elemental.. and Broot and his companions wondered whether or not they should try it..

they eventually did.. and it was an epic battle! By the time it was over.. the elemental fell to their combined might.. but not leaving them all badly injured (red hp) and taking the life of one of their own.. sadly.. the taru made the ultimate sacrifice

Broot and his friends mourned.. and a stand-by watcher was amazed at the battle.. showed his respects as well

..to be continued (next stop, Broot duels a yagudo! and more Broot adventures with.. water)
