There is no other way to get a fucking stygian ash, you know, and people still want Hermes sandals, Ixion cloak, Ixion cape, and Azoth.

Can't have everything be sunshine and rainbows. They balanced the one mob that cures you, making it so that it drops the only thing that can claim an HNM, so you have to kill it and there won't be an overabundance of them in the game. It actually makes perfect sense to me.

Clearly leaving town imparts you with a knowledge of exactly how every mob acts, what they drop, and if they have a special hate counter that a very scant few mobs in the entire game have.

You should have to pay for it. Make another gil sink for items that gives a player a few mill. Sure, the items will be more epxensive, but there would be less gil in the game, making the price of items drop.

I remember one of my first times out in Vunkerl Isle, I was attempting to solo one of the mobs around the fort/lake when I accidentally hit the wrong WS macro and did a AoE dagger skill... omg.. I was pwn'd soooo hard by a pixie/fairy that had (unbeknownst to me) just came up behind me.

Recently I was doing a campaign battle in Batalia Downs ... I tried to retarget an orc that was gonna live a bit longer than the one I was currently killin with a bunch of people... I wasn't really paying too much attention at the time and accidentally locked onto a pixie crossing thru the fight... hit the wee lil thing before I could unlock, so it really wanted to kill me... I realized... I'm sooooo screwed if I'm seen fighting this pixie... I ran off to the far reaches of the map for so I wasn't hunted down with pitchforks and torches.

... they still raise/heal me. After the first one way back, I think they kinda were a bit finicky but they turned around.
