Well, scratch the wooden flowerpot idea which didn't pan out as well as I'd have hoped and on to the next idea!

Now I will be doing the Chocobo Hot/Cold in Valkurm and hoping to obtain some flowerpots that way.

Also for now, if I buy one or get one from the apparatus it will only be one so that I can test out some recipes for it. If I get multiple from the Hot/Cold then that's just bonus.


Thing is, doing the strange apparatus route is expensive, and I'd greatly appreciate any advice anyone could give me on bettering my chances with getting an arcane flowerpot this way. Beyond getting Doctor status, I'm not sure what I can do to better my odds of getting one.

Any help is greatly appreciated ^^

My last resort will be to buy one.... But I'm not sure I want to spend that kind of gil on a test right now.

Well, I note that I've gotten two Arcane Flowerpots so far, though I've been doing Chocobo Hot & Cold regularly for many months. However, most of the time I do it in Pashhow Marshlands; I don't think that's one of the places it comes from. I've just recently started digging in Valkurm Dunes to go for another chocograph. So the chances may not be too bad. All in all if you do Chocobo C&H regularly it's not too bad for profitable stuff; you won't get something profitable all the time, or even every week, but you'll get it often enough to make it definitely worth the bother. Not to mention it's made some strong improvements to my digging skill level.
