K so I recently got my Yigit Turban. Very happy with it.

Yigit Gages are next on the list for assault.

I'm a bit torn on feet options.

I'm fairly close to getting the level 68 Cobra Unit crackows, which will give me some MAB, Conserve MP, HP/HP to play until I persue a better pair of shoes.

While the MAB on Yigit Feet looks good, Goliard has more INT/MND, +2 Magic Accuracy, +5 Evasion and +3hMP while resting. Seems like a better all-around option and has better DEF than Yigit to boot.

So should I just set off for Nyzul once I knock out Yigit Gages?

I'm partial to the Goliard. I passed on Yigit for them. Really is a personal choice but I absolutely LOVE the 3 hMP.

What job are you using them for?

Personally I use Numerist Pumps for healing and for my Elemental Magic set, and Yigit for nuking or INT set. I haven't gotten Goliard yet because they absolutely and stubbornly refuse to drop but when I do, I don't think I'll be using them much though.

Imo, with Goliard you can dump the Numerist because its only +1 hMP. Then you have to decide if you want magic attack or magic accuracy with more int and more def. I prefer acc and the bonus int and extra def is always welcome. Stuff like this really is personal preference but there are people that are "my way or the highway".

Actually, I think SE ninja'd the Numerist Pumps. They give the same hMP as Goliard: 3.

I would get both if I were you. For nuking on standard mobs or using helixes, use Yigit. For nuking slightly higher things, debuffing, and generally all around everything on RDM use Goliard, mine only come off for Duelist's Boots when I'm in my MP setup or my max nuke damage setup. Yigit would take the place of Duelist's for the nuking for RDM as well.

You may as well get Yigit anyway if you're going for the set. That way you have the set bonus and can dump the whole thing in storage when you don't need it d(^-^)b

Goliard are pretty much the best feet you can get for RDM, hands down.

Yigit is better for nukes though. 3 int and 2 MaB far outweighs 4 int IMO.

For Blm, would cobra crackows be better for nuking than yigit? that's the impression i was under. with the staves and a good int setup, MAB 3 > MAB 2 +the int yigit gives?

No.

Even if you did have a lot of int, 3 int and 2 MaB will far outweigh 3 MaB.

Yigit gages are awful for nuking. Stick with zenith or vicious mufflers if you're scholar.

This after you just said this:

For the Yigit feet.

I get 5 MND/INT on gages and +2% MAB on the Gages, wouldn't that really just put me close to what I had with Vicious, just with more MND? I have to consider my MND builds for Accession anyway, so there's still a reason to get it.

Already have Vicious Mufflers anyway.
