Ahem. Wiki says...

"Set: Increases MP +10 for every additional piece after the first"

So basically my understanding is that using the whole set gives you +50MP, if each piece gave you +10MP it wouldnt say Set in the equipment description, it would just say, "MP + 10".

Also, I might add that getting the cobra set without Wings of The Goddess will probably cost you a lot of money (for a new player, anyway) since the only way you can get it without the expansion is by buying it off the AH.

I already have it i was given it.

I dont like healing but i do on occassion but what i dont want to happen is to just become a sub because they couldnt find a whm. Im thinking of getting the expansion and going down the scholar route instead, until then i might as well just go as whm. But they ask me to main heal and i will say no.

If you're going to go this route, make the parties yourself and grab a white mage. Make sure to tell the members that you aren't going to main heal. Otherwise, you'll be seeking for a very long time.

Actually, if you wear all 5 pieces, you would get +40 MP, not +50. You wouldn't get the bonus from the first piece in the set.
