Or as Feba said earlier, those .dats could just be PH, the same as when the 1st .dats for the new AF came up.

So, I remembered a discussion from a while back . . .

Which one of these is the "Kraken Sword" from the preview a while back? And how about the Spiked Staff?

Yeah, I want the Cure Potency Earring and the Ixion Cape.../drool. I guess it's going to take some testing though to see if the MaB Staff and Macc Staff are better than the Ele Staves. Also gonna search AH in hopes that the Elemental Grips are crafted lol...Too bad some poor saps are going to pay millions before the price goes down for them.

Seems the Herme's Sandals are made from the Ixion Mane or w/e so that's full of win lol. And gotta love how apparantly Fellow's will be able to cook us food...

From the fact that there are items for both "Popping" the new NM's and from killing them I guess you return that item as proof you beat them in exchange for a list of rewards...(Forgive me if this was already said)

All in all can't wait to start seeing just how hard some of the better pieces are going to be to get. ^^

Oh I almost forgot, it's entirely possible SE has implemented the new relic weapons in part only.

It's going to be at least a year before anyone even gets one.

Almost certainly. The statless items in the dats now are just placeholders attached to the art, so the items can be displayed in game on NPCs in cutscenes, same way dnc and sch AF was blank for a couple months.

There's so much MAB and M ACC gear in this update that its really making me reconsider doing assaults at all for my SCH. The Cobra Unit mage gear they added this time seems actually worth the trouble, at least the legs are far better than thier Assault counterpart.

Toyed around with the New NM system, SE has coyly incorporated it into Pankration. Seems the initial requests so far are to go out and take pictures of mobs in particular envirionments. Cute. Beats the snot out of farm for stuff, at any rate.

Haha. The new brd relic dagger is better than the thief relic dagger. That's sad. Looks like SAM's getting another boost with that gear though

Honestly, I'd rather have more MDB gear. >.<;

Heh, I'm surprised they didn't add a few more en-spell enhancement gear for RDM to /drool on. Kinda curious to see how some of the new weapons proc compared to the current "Champions". Mainly in the GK, H2H, and Polearm departments...

A - Yes
B - There are less job types in the game then there are individual jobs. MAB gear is and should be made available to all jobs who may find themselves in a situation where they are casting a lot to do damage.
C - Sometimes gear is equipped for some of the stats it provides.

I know is very hard for you to realize, but some RDM do cast damaging spells.
