Could someone please direct me to a site or some info as to how i get an Airship Pass please. thank you. i searched and i cant figure out how to get one.

there are 2 types of airship passes:

1) general pass that takes you to the 3 starting nations and connects @ Jueno. This is obtained by completing Mission 5-1 as a gift, or you can pay, what.. 200,000 gil for it I think? Its a staggering amount to a new player unless you have a wealthy friend.

2) pass to the the city of Kahzam. This is obtained by getting 3 keys from 3 for the beastman zones. You then trade those to an NPC and he will give you the pass.

I was wondering: on FFXIClopedia it says that you have to complete rank 4 in my region. I am a Mithra RDM in Windurst, at the moment at lvl7, so still a rookie. When can I start building up my ranks? I have looked at the missions of Windurst and the first one is already pretty hard, way too difficult for low level me...

I would love to travel to the other regions, but if it takes me to lvl 30 or so to get that Airship Pass...What region has the easiest missions anyway?

You'll notice that FFXIClopedia lists a suggested level for each mission, right at the top of the page. But that's situational, of course. It doesn't look like Windurst Mission 1-1 requires any fighting, so if you're good enough at sneaking past mobs, you might be able to do it before the 10 they suggest.

There's nothing stopping you from traveling to other regions without an airship pass. In order to get the airship pass, you're going to have to. You'll be going to Jeuno at level 20 to get your chocobo license, and before then you'll have traveled to various other places to level up. The differences between the three nations' missions up to Rank 3 are negligible. And from 2-3 through the mission that gets you an airship pass, and beyond, they're all the same.

Just took a mule to Jeuno the other day and he's level 1. OMG so much fun dodging mobs but I still ended up dying once in Jugner Forest. Good thing I was on the main path and someone came along and raised me. He messaged me and said "Dude you are WAY too low level for this area!" I told him {fun}{adventure} and he laughed. There were a bunch of people at the gate to Jeuno when I got there and I was whooping it up in shouts. Most fun I've had in a long time in this game.
