Just wondering, if I use this as RDM and have enspells up, will the silence effect still proc at all? I don't use this very often, but am about to solo the ZM12 pot for a friend and just wondering how it worked.

Just like every other additional effect weapon, an Enspell overrides the "Ensilence". Sucks yeah, but on Windsday you rarely have to ever cast silence on a target since it procs so much.

I never knew enspell overode additional effects - does this apply to ALL additional effects a weapon has? Even if its a damage latent or say, + crit hit etc?

No, it only applies to effects that would produce an "Additional effect: ..." message, whether by a Spark Rapier, Garuda's Dagger, Hushed Dagger or what have you. Enspell also overrides Excalibur's effect, I'm told.
