But the thing is, if you have a relic weapon, everyone knows you're the one who went to the effort of obtaining it. You don't get any extra credit or anything, all the credit is already yours. Now, maybe if it was signable with the name of a linkshell or something as a shoutout to the people that helped you get it, I could understand. I think that would be pretty cool for Ex NM drops as well.

Actually, dynamis linkshell signing would be awesome. Would be simple enough too, SE could add a prompt when you trade the hourglass to the trailmarkings, then any AF2 that drops inside is given the text in that prompt's name (maybe make it possible for someone to remove this, but not add it, so if someone wants to name your bastok run CraptastictownWeekFive, it doesn't reflect poorly on you whenever you wear that armor), that way multiple dynamis LS can work together and still get signed armor. That would also be pretty neat in COP missions, whoever you finish 8-4 with gets put on your ring. Like if you had a party of (using names of people from my server) Yib, Raslin, Vestrivan, Petsnoop, Feba, Luijii, the ring would be signed '[Y.R.V.P.F.L.]", kinda like the wedding rings, but for groups. Would definitely help create bonds between players even more than those missions already do. Not that I'd ever work with luijii or raslin. |
