You could try the Crimson Knight Crabs in Lufaise or Misereaux as well. No one really kills them and they have a fast repop. They're only a tier lower then the SSG crabs though.

Actually, feeding "noobs" by buying stuff off the AH is a good thing. It's better that "noobs" make their living by selling random drops on the AH than for them to go buy gil from RMT. After all, isn't that what we basically tell every new player who comes to a message board asking how they can raise gil? Lyonheart
